What if an educational summit felt more like a weekend at a countryside retreat?
For Alfa-Bank’s annual Alfa Future Summit 2026, we developed The Professors’ Country Retreat, a creative concept that brought Russia’s academic and business communities together at Okhta Park, near St. Petersburg.
The three-day event welcomed over 200 guests, including representatives of leading Russian universities, business executives, and industry experts, to discuss the future of higher education and collaboration between academia and business.
Inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional countryside gathering, the concept encouraged informal conversations and meaningful connections beyond the conference stage.
We developed the creative direction and event scenography, transforming the venue with custom decorations, welcoming areas, navigation, and distinct settings for each part of the program.
The experience began with an evening of wine tasting, fireside conversations, and live music. The following day featured a full-scale business program, followed by a gala dinner with a completely different atmosphere.
The evening’s highlight was a surprise performance staged on the water. As the curtains overlooking the lake slowly rose, guests discovered a pianist performing against the backdrop of a choreographed musical show. The unexpected reveal became the emotional finale of the summit.
A specially developed dining menu, live jazz, and evening entertainment completed the experience.
From creative concept development and event design to production, logistics, guest management, and on-site coordination, we brought the entire experience to life.
